Privacy policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026.
This page describes what actually happens when you read this site. It is written from the site's real configuration, not from a template: if a section says a feature does not exist, it does not exist in the code that serves these pages.
The short version
- No accounts, no logins, no forms, no comments, no newsletter. There is nothing on this site for you to sign up to, and no server-side database holding anything about you.
- One analytics tool is available: Google Analytics 4. It stays switched off until you allow it, and no request reaches Google before that.
- No advertising runs on this site today. If that changes, this page changes before any ad appears.
- No third-party embeds, no social plug-ins, no tracking pixels, and no fonts served from someone else's domain. The three typefaces on this site are served from the site's own files.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. The measurement property is G-TQM7N1JNFD. Once allowed, it collects the usual web-analytics signals: the pages you view, the referring page, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your browser and device type, and a random identifier Google uses to distinguish a returning session from a new one.
What it is used for: knowing which questions people actually come here with, so the pages that answer them get maintained first. There is no advertising, remarketing or audience-building on this site, so there is no profile of you being built for advertising purposes here.
You can block it without losing anything: standard content blockers, your browser's tracking protection, or Google's own opt-out add-on all work, and every page still reads normally.
Your choices
Audience measurement is optional, and it is the only optional category on this site. Nothing is loaded from Google until you make a choice, and rejecting costs you nothing. Your decision is stored in this browser and can be changed or withdrawn at any time from the panel on this page, or from the Privacy choices button in the footer of every page. Because no advertising network runs here, there is nothing to allow or refuse for advertising.
Hosting and server logs
This site is a set of static files delivered by a third-party hosting provider. Serving a page necessarily involves that provider seeing your IP address, your user agent and the requested URL in order to return the file — that is how any web request works. There is no first-party application server behind this site, no session store and no first-party log we mine to identify readers.
Cookies
This site stores one cookie of its own, named ananta_guide_consent, which records the privacy choice you made so that you are not asked again on every page. It contains that choice and nothing else, it is not an identifier, and it is not shared with anyone. Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies in this site's domain, and only once you have allowed audience measurement; before that, no analytics cookie is written. Because this site has no login, no shopping cart and no preferences to remember, there are no other cookies.
Outbound links and third-party services
The pages link out — to the official site, to Steam, the PlayStation Store, the App Store and Google Play, to the official Discord and YouTube channel, and to sources cited on the pages. Following one of those links takes you to a service with its own privacy policy and its own data practices, which this site does not control and cannot describe on its behalf. In particular:
- The store pages belong to Valve, Sony, Apple and Google respectively, each with its own account and payment terms.
- Discord and YouTube operate under their own policies the moment you open them.
- Email addresses published here that belong to the publisher are the publisher's channels, not this site's.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site today, no ad network script and no ad slot. If advertising is introduced later, this page will be updated before any ad script is deployed, and it will state which network runs, what it may collect, and how to opt out. Nothing is silently added.
Children
This site is a reference for a video game rated Teen (Google Play) and 12+ (App Store). It is not directed at children, it collects nothing that identifies anyone, and it has no interactive features.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. Because the site has no mailing list, the date at the top of this page is the notification.
